Philadelphia, PA - show?

This was by far the most....challenging?.... thing we've ever done as a band.

First, it was a long-ass drive from Nashville, for our first show in 3 days. So we were really looking forward to playing again.

When we got into downtown Philly, we were stoked to find the club, grab some great local food, and play show! The venue was a tiny lounge above a dance bar that had a DJ playing sweet Katy Perry Jams all night. We had to bring our own mics/stands/cables and our own door person if we wanted to make any money. (makes complete sense).

And then there was the stage. It was an "L" shape, that was about arms length deep. Chase played on one end of the L. Steve in the crook (with just a kick/snare/hh/crash), Jaime stood in the middle, (next to the stripper-pole), Carson on the other end, and Kristin mostly on the floor. We started to play at 10pm (there were no other bands booked on the bill) and after the first 8 measures of our intro, the owner ran upstairs yelling in his crazy/scary philly accent that we were too god-damn loud and had to cut it in half. So.... instead of being pissy little bitches, we decided to have fun and play a lounge set. All amps went down to 2 (we could speak normally over the volume), and we had a fabulous loungey time!

Oh, and Carson broke a string, Jaime/Chase/Steve worked the stripper-pole, and our baby & nanny got caught in an all out table/chair throwing fight in a mcdonalds.
